Our PSHE Association accredited Key Stage 2 lesson raises awareness about how assistance dogs can support disabled people in various contexts and environments. As many children may meet disabled people partnered with assistance dogs, both in and outside of school, these lessons offer a fantastic opportunity to champion diversity, nurture respect towards others and recognise human rights laws and legislation. This lesson fits well into the KS2 curriculum, years 5-6.
